Chewelah, WA

Known as the region’s favorite family resort, 49°North has the largest lift accessible acreage in Eastern Washington. With world-class grooming, desert dried powder, and legendary glades, this is a place skiers and riders of all ages can call home.

Special Notes

Angel Peak Chairlift is Opening tomorrow! Silver Lode Chairlift is open along with most of the West Basin trails! Sunrise and Central Basins are 95% open! Come up and enjoy top to bottom turns in three basins, with six lifts, Four summit lifts, and hundreds of acres of open terrain! Coverage is good but low snow conditions exist so please ski and ride with care.

Special Notes

Its pure Winter Magic on the mountain! Head up for fun in the sun on the snow! NOAA has an amazing forecast of partly sunny and mild temps in the mid 30s for today, and the evening will be mostly clear, with just a touch of light snow. Today were opening the Northwood (Chair 6) for the first time this season. Enjoy riding all six lifts and the handle tow in the terrain park, while cruising on buttery-soft machine-tilled corduroy all day. On mountain brews and views will be at served at the No-Li Bar and Vista House! Keep the good times rolling with three chairs operating until 9pm.

Silver offers two mountains, 73 trails, 1,600 acres of terrain, 2,200 vertical and more than 300 inches of snow annually. The diverse terrain spreads snow riders across the two mountains so you spend more time riding and less time in lift lines.

Get ready for an excellent weekend with all lifts spinning, 78 trails open, and 27 groomed!
Last week delivered some fantastic days on the mountain, with multiple powder refreshes and over two feet of snowfall, allowing all chairs to spin and nearly all terrain to open! Conditions are very wintery right now and the mountain is skiing great!
Today looks partly sunny with calm winds and temperatures climbing toward the low 30s, a perfect time to get outside and enjoy everything this last storm cycle built for us.
Conditions like this dont come around every weekend, so grab your gear and make the most of it!
