Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area

Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area

OPENING DAY COMES EARLY 11/8/2024!

Opening day for winter 2024-25 is this Friday, 11/8/2024.

Lift hours will be; 10a to 3p (PST) on Friday with Ski Lookout Pass operating the Peak 1 Quad Chairlift!

Brian Bressel, GM stated; “With the recent snowstorms depositing 14” to 36” of snow on the mountain, and with more snow pending, the mountain is ready to welcome skiers and riders.” “Stoke is indeed high and we’ve got enough early-season snow to offer a fun product for our enthusiastic early season diehards.”

Ski Lookout Pass will have most of the 14 trails on the front of the mountain open and available for our guest’s enjoyment on Friday, with 3-4 of these runs groomed just prior to opening. Then for Saturday and Sunday, in addition to the chair #1 offering, the mountain will open most of the 14 trails served by our Eagle Peak Quad (Chair #5) along with trails upper Rainbow Ridge and Tamarack that will usher guests over to Chair 5. Hours will be 9a to 3p (PST) Sat. and Sun. Lift Tickets will be affordably priced at $30 for adults, military or college students, and just $25 for youth and seniors on Friday 11/8. The price for a lift tickets on Saturday or Sunday will be $47 adults, military or college students, and $35 for youth and seniors. The Timberwolf Triple (Chair #2) will operate only to transport guests back from the Eagle Peak Quad (Chair #5) to the front side of the mountain. Get ahead of the curve and make some early season tracks while enjoying a little leg workout this weekend. Skiers and riders should expect early-season conditions with potential for bare or thin areas to develop and potential obstacles to exist. With more snow in the forecast the start of the promising La’ Nina winter is adding a nice pre-Christmas glimmer to what is being touted by many forecasters as “A winter to remember!”

The mountain will be closed Monday thru Thursday. With plans to re-open next Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
