HOURS OF OPERATION: Open Wednesday through Sunday, 9 am to 4 pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Night skiing opens December 20.
COMMENTS: 2:00pm UPDATE: Occasional snow flurries on the mountain with summit-to-base visibility. A nice morning on your mountain, temperatures returning to average, and snow is softening up. We have 19 runs groomed to a silky smooth corduroy surface for great turns, and improved conditions off the groomed. 28 trails are open, including the Terrain Park where you can show off your wicked skills! Snow is in the forecast, so expect awesome skiing and riding! Winds 5-10 mpg and visibility is variable with patchy fog. Chair 4 is open! Lamonga Pass is open! Chair 1 opening soon! 3-Week Lesson Packages are on sale for $20 off, this week only. Tube Hill opens this Saturday December 14, and Night Skiing opens Friday December 20, with an awesome kick off party! COMMENTS: Currently there is a 26 inch base at the Mountain House and 41 inches at Kellogg Peak. We are open for skiing,boarding,snowshoeing and scenic rides Thursday through Monday and tubing Friday through Sunday. The first gondola will load at 8:15am, skiing and tubing will start at 9:00am and go until 4:00pm. We will be opening chairs 1,2,3,4 and the carpet lift. NOAA is calling for snow throughout the foreseeable future. The best way to experience Silver is to stay at the base in their luxurious lodging and enjoy the 84 degree warm of Idaho's largest indoor waterpark.
