Ski NW Rockies brings together 49 Degrees North, Lookout Pass, Silver Mountain and Mt. Spokane to promote winter recreation across Eastern Washington and North Idaho. But our mountains are about much more than skiing. They are part of the region’s economy, workforce, quality of life, tourism and community fabric.

Our member mountains provide firsthand insight into conditions and what’s happening on the slopes. We also work with regional and national media to share the story of winter in the Inland Northwest.

Our History
A century of skiing. Four mountains. One shared mission.
Skiing has been a way of life in the Pacific Northwest for more than a century. Long before skiing became a destination industry, people across the region were heading into the mountains for winter, building communities around snow and passing a love of the outdoors from one generation to the next.
Ski NW Rockies grew from that tradition—and from a simple idea:

The regional ski association was established in the 1990s to promote skiing and snowboarding throughout the Inland Northwest.
Over the years, the organization evolved into Ski NW Rockies, representing four member mountains across Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
The mission has stayed remarkably consistent:

Today, we continue that tradition by working together to promote the region, grow participation and strengthen the future of winter recreation.
